Caregiver Consulting

Caregiving can feel overwhelming and exhausting. As a lifelong caregiver, I’ve experienced the challenges, frustrations, fears, and guilt that often come with it.

I provide knowledge, tools, and strategies to help you navigate caregiving with confidence—both during and after. With the right support, moments of joy and presence can be found, even in the midst of challenges.

Drawing from personal experience, especially my mother’s journey with dementia, I share valuable insights to help caregivers and those in their care.

Common topics we’ll explore include respite, accessing home support, moving, nutrition, mobility, communication, navigating transitions, managing medications, handling multiple diagnoses, providing emotional support, grief, engaging in meaningful activities, and developing practical solutions

Caregiving goes beyond societal stigma, revealing hidden opportunities for personal growth, joy, and connection when we stay flexible and open to change.

Testimonials

  • If you are struggling with the labyrinth of challenges for senior care, you cannot have a better advisor or coach in your corner than Katrina Prescott.

Words can't begin to express how effectively she taught our family to navigate a confusing system and advocate for our mom as she approaches the end of her life.

We know we could never have managed this without Katrina's help. We have been able to understand the system, keep Mom comfortable at home, and access badly needed help that we wouldn't have known was available.

This kind of help is a godsend. Thank you, Katrina!

Katrina has great tips and tools, and a wonderful supportive way to help me sort thru so many difficult issues and problems. She makes me feel good about myself, and her energy helps me realize that my problems in dealing with the care giving for my husband are not as overwhelming. She also encourages me to focus and realize that I still have to care for myself, and create a life for myself, if I want to help my husband to my best ability. And she does this without judgement. I feel her love and joy for life and her strength to do the best I can, and know it's ok. She is wonderful!
